Play Solitaire online free — classic Klondike

Solitaire — the Klondike patience game that shipped with every PC — is the one-player classic: build the four foundations from Ace to King while uncovering the face-down cards in the seven tableau columns. Play Solitaire online free on CardCouch, draw one or draw three, with no download and no sign-up.

Tap a card and then tap where it should go, or tap a card twice to send it straight to its foundation. Unlimited undo, a move counter and a timer are built in, and the site remembers your best time, fewest moves and total wins.

On CardCouch

  • Klondike rules with draw one or draw three from the stock, unlimited passes through the deck and unlimited undo.
  • Auto-move sends every card that can go to a foundation home in one tap.
  • Personal bests — fastest win and fewest moves — saved on your device.
  • Large, legible cards on phones (the board scales to your screen) and full-size cards on desktop.

Frequently asked questions

Is this draw-one or draw-three Solitaire?
Both. Draw one is the default: each tap on the stock turns over a single card, which makes more deals winnable. Switch the Draw setting to 3 for the classic harder game where three cards turn at once and only the top one can be played. Personal bests are kept separately for each.
Can every Solitaire deal be won?
No. With every hidden card known, roughly nine in ten draw-one deals and about four in five draw-three deals can be solved; the rest are impossible from the start, and at the table you win fewer still because the cards stay hidden. Use Undo freely and start a new game if a deal is blocked.
Does it keep my statistics?
Yes. Your wins, best time and fewest moves are stored in your browser on this device. No account is needed.
Is the game free and does it work on a phone?
Yes and yes. Solitaire on CardCouch is free, needs no download, and the board resizes to fit a phone screen with large card indexes.
